BMO Convention Centre Expansion, Calgary, June 2024

The project is completed on time and on budget, June 2024.

Gerry Judah's monumental sculpture, titled Spirit of Water, is the final touch on the $500M expansion of the BMO Centre. The sculpture -- measuring 70-feet tall by 45-feet wide -- is located in the BMO Centre expansion's nearly 100,000 square foot plaza. Weighing 112,000 pounds, the sculpture stands as a focal point within the plaza, providing a new gathering place for convention goers in Calgary's Culture + Entertainment District.
